Patient Reported Outcomes

Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO)

Patient Reported Outcomes are used in clinical trials to gather a patient’s perspective on the impact a specific drug or device had on them, whether it is physical, psychological or functional. PROs can provide a unique patient-centered data that can help clinicians and sponsors better understand the treatment effects on the patient.

At Delve Health, we have pioneered ways to make it easier for sponsors and providers to get to patients wherever they are, and gain more accurate outcomes. We do this by using two different methods

1. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

Using tools and devices that patients already carry around, whether it is a smart mobile phone or a smart watch, we push diaries and questionnaires directly to the patient, without burdening their daily routines. This approach can help us achieve up to 92% compliance and response from the patient.

2. Provisioning Devices

We understand that some patients might not have smart phones or might not want to use their own devices in the realm of a clinical trial. Therefore, our team can provide you with the tools and devices needed to ship directly to the patient or the site, taking the hassle out of your trial

Our Electronic Patient Reported Outcome (ePRO) utilizes various messaging capabilities to get to patients wherever they are. We partner with our clients to better understand the protocol, the patient population and where the patients reside, and based on the analysis, we identify the best messaging tool to use, where it is SMS, What’s App, WeChat or whatever works best.
