The Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative who is ready to hunt. This is a pure outbound role. Your job is to create pipeline by getting on the phone, working your sequences, and booking qualified meetings with decision-makers at pharma, biotech, CRO, and medical device organizations.
We are not looking for someone who wants to wait for inbound leads or manage existing accounts. We are looking for someone who gets energized by a full call block, takes rejection as fuel, and measures their week by meetings booked.
The bar is clear: 10 qualified meetings booked per week. If you are the kind of person who sees that number as a floor, not a ceiling, we want to talk.
What You Will Do
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting daily through cold calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach targeting clinical research buyers.
- Identify and research target companies in pharma, biotech, CRO, and medical device sectors to build a qualified prospect list.
- Book a minimum of 10 qualified discovery meetings per week for the commercial team.
- Qualify prospects against defined criteria including trial phase, indication focus, patient support needs, and technology infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate, real-time activity logging in HubSpot including call notes, contact records, and pipeline status.
- Work closely with the CCO to refine messaging, identify new target segments, and iterate on outreach sequences based on what is working.
- Represent Delve Health professionally on every touchpoint, including cold calls, follow-ups, and LinkedIn conversations.
What We Are Looking For
- 1–3 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in life sciences, healthcare technology, CRO services, or a related field — but attitude and drive will always outweigh a resume.
- Proven comfort with high-volume cold calling — you do not avoid the phone, you pick it up.
- Coachable and eager to learn the clinical research space.
- Self-starter who can manage a full day of outbound activity without constant oversight.
- Strong communicator who can adapt their message quickly and hold a conversation with a senior clinical operations leader.
- Organized and process-oriented, with the ability to manage a large prospect list without letting anything slip.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, HubSpot preferred, and standard outbound sales workflows.
Location
We are based in Minneapolis/St. Paul and prefer candidates in the Twin Cities area, though we are open to remote for the right person. If you are local, even better.
