At Delve Health, we recognize the urgent need to address climate chance and its impact on our planet and communities. We are committed to taking bold and meaningful action to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a sustainable future. With this in mind, we are proud to declare our commitment to becoming a carbon-neutral organization.
Our Carbon Neutral Pledge
- Measuring Our Carbon Footprint: We will conduct a comprehensive assessment of our company’s greenhouse gas emissions, including direct emissions from our operations (scope 1); emissions from purchased electricity and heat (scope 2); and emissions from our supply chain and business travel (scope 3). We will use internationally recognized standards and methodologies to ensure accuracy and transparency in our calculations.
- Reducing Emissions: We will implement a robust strategy to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions across all scopes. This will include implementing energy-efficient practices in our offices, optimizing our transportation and logistics operations, minimizing waste generation, and promoting responsible consumption within our organization. We will continually review and update our processes to identify and implement further emission reduction opportunities.
- Renewable Energy: We will prioritize the use of renewable energy sources for our electricity needs. We will explore options such as solar, wind, and geothermal power to transition towards a cleaner energy mix and minimize our reliance on fossil fuels.
- Off-Setting Emissions: Despite our best efforts to reduce emissions, some carbon emissions may be unavoidable. We are committed to off-setting these residual emissions by investing in high-quality carbon off-set projects. These projects will support initiatives such as reforestation, renewable energy development and community-based projects that promote sustainable livelihoods.
- Collaboration and Transparency: We will actively engage with our employees, partners and stakeholders to raise awareness about climate chance and the importance of carbon neutrality. We will collaborate with industry experts, organizations and policymakers to share knowledge, best practices and advance sustainable solutions. We will report our progress regularly and transparently to demonstrate our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality.
- Continuous Improvement: We recognize that the journey towards carbon neutrality is on-going and requires continuous improvement. We will regularly review and update our carbon reduction targets, strategies and initiatives to align with the latest scientific research and global best practices.
